Over time the UVB in the High Output T5 lamps can start to degrade the quality of the reflector in the Eco T5 Unit. we recommend every 2 years you should replace your reflector to maintain the correct levels of UVI that your animal requires.
When the highly reflective material starts to degrade the UVI output will drop making the UVI levels incorrect for your animal.
You can maintain the reflector by periodically switched the Eco T5 Uni off and removing the lamp, then with a damp clean cloth simply wipe the reflector and the lamp, install the lamp and switch back on again
